Tickets for the fare can be purchased in advance at kiosks called Pressbyrån or 7-Eleven. On the tram you can also buy tickets in an automatic machine. The payment in the machine is only in coins or with Visa (not Visa Electron) or Master Card (not Maestro). Note that this is only on the trams. You have to buy your ticket in a kiosk if you want to take the bus.
